Inserting the Bur:

  1. Insert the bur until correctly seated.
  2. Depress the push button, secure the bur, and release the button.
  3. Verify security by gently pulling and pushing the bur without depressing the button.

Removing the Bur:

  1. Depress the push button firmly.
  2. Remove the bur.

Sterilization:

After Each Patient:

  1. Remove the bur.
  2. Insert into an autoclave pouch.
  3. Seal the pouch.

Autoclave Settings:

  • More than 20 minutes at 121°C.
  • Or 15 minutes at 132°C.
  • Or 3 minutes at 134°C.

Post-Sterilization:

The handpiece should remain in the autoclave pouch until required for use. Autoclave up to a maximum of 135°C.
